If you're a brave soul who refuses to live in denial when it comes to your portfolio's performance, this program may be for you. It calculates each day's gain and loss as a dollar amount and as a percentage, and it shows you the total market value of your holdings, letting you monitor your portfolio in real time. What separates TradeTrakker from similar programs is its level of detail and its ability to analyze your holdings. It uses 50 parameters to calculate your net worth, including buy/sell, stock splits, and dividends.

You can create links to stock news, charts, SEC filings, and personal online trading accounts, as well as arrange alerts for when a certain stock price or volume reaches a specified low or high. You can export all data into Microsoft Excel, print summaries and reports, and have your stock data transmitted to your pager.
