Description of Maplay
This MPEG audio decoder and player supports MPEG I, II, and III audio streams. Despite the high levels of compression, Maplay features little audible signal loss. Using MPEG Audio Layer III, you can retain CD-quality sound at compression ratios of around 1:11. The program can also decode an MPEG stream to a PCM Wave file.
