    Duration of ownership: 2 Years

    Strengths: great for being everything you ever wanted in a firewall way better than anything ever tried and prob better than paid for firewalls

    Weaknesses: some people say it annoys with pop-ups only if you configure it to i set the firewall to custom policy and defense + to safe mode but to keep my computer very safe

    Overall Evaluation: i love it and that will not change only thing i could ask for is if they would make a Mac and Linux version

    Duration of ownership: 5 Months

    Strengths: Tight, it doesn't let anything through I didn't authorize.

    Weaknesses: It doesn't always seem to remember my choice. Any small change made by the program being monitored is interpreted as a new program attempting to access the network.

    Overall Evaluation: A great program that decreases my fear of being connected to the Internet.

    Duration of ownership: 1 Months

    Strengths: To me, this program was air tight. A great firewall for an experienced PC user. And, its free.

    Weaknesses: It will leave the Geico Cavemen scratching their heads.

    Overall Evaluation: Annoyingly Spectacular.

    Duration of ownership: 2 Months

    Strengths: seems to be very good at monitoring things that could cause your computer problems.

    Weaknesses: Can be almost as annoying as Vista UAC. You can go to install mode and minimize the clicks you have to make to keep moving ahead.

    Overall Evaluation: I had to replace Zone Alarm with Comodo since Zone Alarm kept causing my Firefox Browser to quit working. I had read other posts on the Internet about Zone Alarm being a problem for this, and sure enough installing Comodo and removing all traces of Zone Alarm stopped the Firefox Crash problems.

    Duration of ownership: 6 Months

    Strengths: Amazing firewall, lots of functionality - as good as any costly firewall. It consumes less system resources.

    Weaknesses: Not very easy to use. But that is only initially. One gets used to it over time.

    Overall Evaluation: Good firewall to use if you want it for free and if you want it to be robust and light on the system.

    Strengths: great free firewall have had several Norton,McAfee just to name a few its right up there on top of the pile

    Weaknesses: needs to work on anti virus program that comes in suite version but recommend avast or avg for that also free

    Overall Evaluation: very very good program
