Editor's Review of Deskloops Beta
That cramped Windows taskbar isn't the best way to manage your open windows. Deskloops shows you thumbnails of all the open windows, letting you choose which one to visit next. Once installed, you click its rainbow tornado icon to start it running in the background. To see the thumbnails of what's on your desktop, bring your cursor to the top of the screen, and Deskloops will show you a strip that includes small images of every open window.
If you have several programs open, you can scroll through the strip, which shows everything on your desktop in a loop. The current selection shows in a yellow frame, and you can change the selection by clicking. Deskloops also arranges all your open windows into a loop your desktop (hence the name); you can scroll through them that way as well. Deskloops takes a little getting used to, but it can be a very quick way to navigate your desktop.
Note: This is beta software. The vendor takes no responsibility for any problems resulting from use of this file. It installs a Browser Helper Object, DLIEHelper.dll, which has been defined as legitimate by the security site CastleCops.
