Unless you're a U2 fanatic, there's not much to recommend about
this screen saver, which purports to display cool images of the
band. All you get, though, is one image composed of four pics of
Bono and the boys. First it displays as a normal duotone in tones
of blue and black, then the colors are reversed, then back to
normal, then... you get the picture. Various transition effects are
used in an attempt to keep it interesting. Oddly enough, this
screen saver is completely silent.
The installation was a tad confusing; clicking on the executable
launches an installation routine that keeps referring to a file
called "Bono." The settings allow you to choose the background
color , the image interval, and the effect speed. Options for
showing image captions and playing background music are grayed
out--too bad, because adding a few U2 tracks would be a
no-brainer.
