Editorial Review of 3D Asteroids
Arcade Game Studio's freebie turns your computer display into the windshield of a rocket ship blasting into the outer reaches of the galaxy. Three-dimensional asteroids hurtle towards your ship and stars spin in the distance.
3D Asteroids is a great little screen saver, but I was a bit frustrated after a while--the impulse to blast at those asteroids is just too strong.
The graphics are very well done, and there is no sound, so this would be acceptable in an office. It was easy to install (just click the executable), but it is not customizable. Clicking Settings just leads to an ad for Arcade Game Studio and a link to the site.
