Professional graphic artists can justify dropping hundreds on the latest version of Corel Painter. Corel Painter Essentials 3 is for the rest of us. This fun program packs much of the artistic punch of Corel Painter IX.5 for just $79.
Experiment with creating digital art using different types of virtual brushes and other implements, media (from oil paints to felt-tip marker ink), and paper. Then use it to turn ordinary digital photographs into artistic paintings.
Download the evaluation file and you'll gain access to more Help guides and tutorials than you can shake a palette knife at (oddly, the Corel site insists you WON'T get some of the training materials that I received with my evaluation copy, such as the User Guide .PDF and step-by-step video tutorials from Lynda.com).
