Duration of ownership: 8 Months
Strengths: Great idea; generally a good search tool, but...
Weaknesses: This product resets user priveleges over networks. I had files where my access was suddenly revoked in the middle of an editing session. Other odd things began to happen to the PC's hard disk, causing me to eventually reformat it and restore without Desktop Search.
Overall Evaluation: Probably OK if you're not on a network. If you ARE on a network, steer clear and use Google Desktop Search instead.
