Strengths: It scans for "spyware" and other malware. Found nothing on my pc.
Weaknesses: No real-time protection. Puts a service on the PC that runs all the time even though the program isn't running in the tray (bloatware?). No uninstaller in Program group (only in Add/Remove). WORST thing is when you uninstall. Many people have reported (me too) that it puts an unknown device (ROOT\LEGACY_SASKUTIL\0000) on PC after uninstalling and restarting. They have an uninstaller in the forums that gets rid of it (if you know that's what the device is). Why not include the uninstaller in the installer (uninstaller is from 2008 - is now 2011)? The issue is very hard to diagnose. Who knows how many people just live with this unknown device loading on the system?
Overall Evaluation: There is a Pro version on their site. I think it has real-time protection and a free trial. Also, try malwarebytes. Faster, cleaner use and uninstall. No services running when closed, assuming you don't want it running at startup. Includes trial of full version in free version.

Strengths: It picks up lots of cookies that most cookie cleaners miss and does pick up some fake antivirus programs
Weaknesses: Slow and some times only picks up cookies, where other programs pick more
Overall Evaluation: I would use this an addition to run once a month or so but would not depend on it. Still have faith on total internet security fully updated. USe Kaspersky Internet SEcurity the last 4 years and no virus issues with it. Great Package. Need help with it contact Niall Mulrine www.pcclean.ie

Strengths: I don't know. I used it for a month and it has not found anything on my computer.
Weaknesses: My Secunia PSI keeps telling me SuperAntiSpyware is insecure. I have downloaded all the updates.
Overall Evaluation: I gave it a Good rating because it has not done anything bad to my computer and because Secunia PSI says it is insecure along with the fact I has found nothing. I will uninstall it today.

Strengths: The best I have used in over 15 years of computing. Finds stuff that paid versions of Norton and McAfee did not.
Weaknesses: None! I believe the users experiencing problems with SUPER AntiSpyware have not been keeping up on their computer health and security issues. Be careful that you check each item it finds in your registry as it does remove infected registry entries. If you have been using a program which has infected the registry, removal may cause an unstable situation. BUT it should have not have gone that far if you have been using the proper security to begin with. (Anitvirus/Firewall... etc)
Overall Evaluation: I have used on three other systems and have been surprised on the additional items it finds even while running paid versions of Norton, McAfee and AVG.
