Description of Norton GoBack
Note: This software has been discontinued by the vendor and is no longer offered. The vendor recommends Norton Ghost in its stead.
If your computer starts to act a little strange after you've downloaded that new file, or worse, your system crashes down all around you, this Norton GoBack can return your hard drive's programs and configuration to a time when things were in working order.
GoBack gives you the power to restore healthy system configurations and lost or damaged data, thereby protecting you from system crashes, virus damage, failed software installations, even user error, by letting you easily return to a time when your computer worked fine. It tracks every change that affects your hard drive while saving the previous configurations. If a problem occurs, you can retrieve specific files or restore your entire hard disk.
The following link will take you to the vendor's site, where you can download Norton Ghost.
