Editorial Review of Auslogics BoostSpeed

Here's an all-in-one speed-boosting utility that takes an everything-plus-the-kitchen-approach to speeding up your PC. You'll find modules for just about any kind of performance-boosting you can name. So the "Boost Internet" section, for example, will optimize your various settings such as Maximum Transmission Units to boost your connection speed, as well as a variety of other settings, such as modifying your DNS cache. The Boost Windows section promises to do everything from speeding up shutdowns and startups, to optimizing memory and system settings. Similarly, there are sections for boosting the speed of Microsoft Office and your browser, your network, and more.

As with any optimizer, you'll need to check carefully that the program actually boosts your speed, rather than decreases it. All in all, though, you'll find this a very good tool for overall system speedup.
