This program solves the problem neatly. It lets you quickly and easily turn UAC on and off. Better yet, it lets you put UAC into "quiet mode," which in essence turns off UAC for administrators, but keeps it on for everyone else. The program is free, and fixes a big-time Vista annoyance.
