Description of Google Sky Bookmarks
This Google Earth KMZ file download was created to accompany the story, In Pictures: The Most Spectacular Sights in Google Sky feature.
To view this file you must have version 4.2 of Google Earth installed on your computer. When prompted to "save" or "open" file, select open.
If Google Earth is installed on your computer it will create shortcuts or Placemarks to over a dozen interesting Google Sky destinations mentioned in the story. Look for PCW's links in the Places menu on the left-side panel of Google Earth.
When visiting a Google Sky Placemark you will be prompted to switch to Google Sky mode when attempting to view a Placemark.
