Editorial Review of ZeroSpyware

If you're in the market for a simple-to-use piece of anti-spyware that offers real-time protection in addition to spyware scans, ZeroSpyware is worth a try. It has the usual set of features you expect in a spyware killer, such as scheduling scans and protecting your browser against hijacks. In addition to the usual anti-spyware features, it has a few nice extras, such as a "vulnerability scan" that checks to see whether you are missing up-to-date security patches for Windows or applications.

But given that this is a for-pay piece of software, is it worth the money, considering that there's plenty of free spyware killers out there, including some that offer real-time protection? ZeroSpyware does a few things they don't, such as give you access to live diagnostics and personal assistance. So if that's important to you, consider buying the program. Otherwise, a free piece of anti-spyware should work fine for you.
