  Duration of ownership: 2 Days

  Strengths: Discovered over 600 discrepancies

  Weaknesses: Adds other unwanted programs, Cannot tell how good the program is in safely removing discrepancies since I won't buy iit because of its reputation as an unwanted program downloader

  Overall Evaluation: I used the frree introductory version of Registry Repair Pro before attempting to purchase.It discovered hundreds of discrepancies but this free version did not allow more than 15 items to "When we tested this site we found links to 3bsoftware.com, which we foundbe fixed. Then, I looked at the results from McAfee Site Advisor that noted that this site ""When we tested this site we found links to 3bsoftware.com, which we found"When we tested this site we found links to 3bsoftware.com, which we found"When we tested this site we found links to 3bsoftware.com, which we found to be a distributor of downloads some people consider to be adware, spyware,or potentially unwanted programs." I found two programs had been added to my desktop during the download of Registry Repair Pro. Does anyone have any experience about this program and this company?

  Strengths: It finds several hundred (harmless) invalid or unused paths missed by CCleaner and Norton SystemWorks.

  Weaknesses: Be advised that Registry Repair Pro does not readily uninstall. Attempts to link to the website for technical support are futile or download spyware to your computer. If you use the Free Scan feature but opt not to buy the product, you will NOT be able to uninstall from Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs. I first had to go to Control Panel > Taskbar & Start Menu > Start Menu (Tab) > Customize Classic Start Menu (Button)> Advanced (Button)> Startup (Folder). Delete both of the following shortcuts: Registry Repair Pro & Scheduler. Then (and only then) you can delete all of the remaining files associated with Registry Repair Pro [My Computer > C Drive > Program Files > 3BSoftware].

  Overall Evaluation: I distrust any software that won't unistall and/or attempts to download spyware, regardless of how effectively it performs the task it claims to perform. I prefer CCleaner even though it misses many of the files identified by Registry Repair Pro.
