Editorial Review of RealPlayer 11 BETA
RealPlayer was the first free mass-market media player that delivered streaming media over the Internet, and even though over the years it's lost ground to Windows Media Player, it still does its job well. Video files recorded in Real format are still popular, and if you want to play them, you'll need this program. It plays other streaming formats as well.
These days, it does a lot more than stream media. You can listen to Internet radio stations, buy music online, manage your media library, burn CDs, transfer music to a portable media player, find a music guide?pretty much do anything you want from a media player and manager.
Note: If you have a firewall, you may need to configure it to let RealPlayer through.
