Overall Evaluation: Is it just me again or what? WindowsXP Operating System already comes with a docking feature that Windows98 also had and which RocketDock also offers except RocketDock does provide for fun cusomization. Furthermore, doesn't the XP docking and/or RocketDock feature essentially does the same basic function that quicklaunch does, which is to provide quick easy access to specific programs? I tested RocketDock and it was fun to play with but otherwise unneccesary since I use quicklaunch and so I uninstalled RocketDock, however, if someone with XP doesn't like to use quicklaunch or RocketDock then they can still create their own XP taskbar for easy quick launching of programs by 1) Use any folder or create a new folder and rename the new folder if desired and then 2) Click down and move it to touch any sides of the monitor screen in order to create the new XP taskbar. After the new XP taskbar is created it will open applications with just a single click same as quicklaunch or RocketDock does. If it's a new empty folder XP taskbar then copy or move applications into the new XP taskbar for ready access to those programs. Right-clicking on the new XP taskbar will display a menu with a bunch of options including: Large or Small Icons; Open Folder; Show Text; Show Title; Close Toolbar; Always On Top; Auto-Hide; And More. Although RocketDock was fun to play with I'd have to say that nano-second for nano-second, I still think quicklaunch works easier and faster than RocketDock or than creating a new XP taskbar. If it's maximun no-nonsense efficiency you're looking for then I recommend sticking with quicklaunch, otherwise, I give RocketDock a fair rating only because it's free.
