  Duration of ownership: 4 Months

  Strengths: Gives you everything in one utility just a mouse click away.

  Weaknesses: Might be to complicated for a novice and might give access to easily to items a novice shouldn't be running.

  Overall Evaluation: I think this is a great utility that allows you to take control of your computer. I recommend using this in place of your Task Manager, which is a feature of this product too!

  Strengths: Easy to use. Lots of useful info

  Overall Evaluation: This is what I've been waiting for. I've been plagued for years with a ton of items running in the background that I was not sure of or items running on start up. With time these apps start taking up a lot of resources. Then I got my June / 08 issue of PC World where Laura Blackwell points out this useful tool. At first it may seem like alot to absorb but all I did was go to the 'monitoring tab' and then 'processes' tab and went down the list. I highlighted each individual item, (on the bottom you'll see the file definition, who makes it, etc.) right clicked, and went to 'file info search' which then took me to - processlibrary.com . Here you will find in plain english what you need to know and whether it is essential for normal functionality. The only other thing I did was go to the 'system' tab and then 'start-up' tab and you;ll see everything that starts up, did the same thing, right clicked and looked up info on each of the items on the list. Disabled those that were safe to do so as recommended. Spend a little time with it and you will find alot of useful info.
