Editorial Review of Lightning
The free Lightning add-on for Thunderbird brings a calendar and
task list to Mozilla's popular e-mail program. You can create
multiple color-coded calendars, such as one for work events and one
for personal engagements, and also pull in events from online
calendars such as Google's.
A handy new sidebar displays upcoming events and tasks in the normal e-mail view, while the full calendar displays separately from mail.
Note: The download link above takes you to the Mozilla add-on site, which includes instructions for adding Lightning to Thunderbird.
