Those who live and die by e-mail, and use Outlook, may well find Lookeen a life-saver. This Outlook 2003 and 2007 add-in lets you do lightning-fast searches, and it gives you a solid set of tools that makes organizing and finding e-mails easier.
The program integrates into Outlook, so you perform searches while you're in Outlook itself. Use it enough, and you'll find that its organizational tools are even more impressive than its speedy search. With a single click you can, for example, show all conversations with a specific contact, or find mail related to a single piece of e-mail. You can show all e-mails in a given day, week or month. You can even automatically summarize e-mails.
Lookeen performs its magic by indexing your files, so you search that index, rather than your entire data store, so depending on how many e-mails you have, it can take up to 20 minutes before you get its full benefits
