Editorial Review of WTF!? Music Info

WTF!? Music Info scans your digital music collection, reads tags for Artist, Genre and Year, and creates bar charts that display which artists music you have the most of, along with the most popular year and genre in your collection. With it, you'll get an analysis of just what music you tend to go for.

You don't need to install anything--just download the small zip file, decompress it into your selected folder, and double-click the wtfmsnfo.exe file. Point the app at your music collection and choose whether you want to allow it to include subdirectories (in a recursive search). After a short bit of scanning you'll see your charts.

According to the developer, WTF!? can read tags from the following file types: AAC, APE (Monkey Audio), FLAC, MP3, MPEG-4 Audio (3G2, 3GP, M4A, M4B, MP4), OGG (Ogg Vorbis), WMA, and WV (WavPack).

You can right-click any chart to print it or save it to the clipboard. From the clipboard you can paste it into a new image with a program such as Paint.net.
