If you suffer from Internet information overload, Evernote v3.5 has the solution. This combination of software and Web-based service lets you capture information from multiple sources, including from the Web, e-mail, a digital camera, via a scanner, and via a microphone. It then lets you organize it all, annotate it, tag it, and search through it, and make it available not just on your PC, but on the Web, and via mobile devices as well.
Capturing and keeping track of all your information via Evernote takes some getting used to. The interface isn't always intuitive. But after a short learning curve, you'll find this program quite useful, particularly for researchers, or those who gather a great deal of information. It's probably best suited for clipping and gather information from the Web, although bringing in e-mail messages can help cut down on e-mail overload.
