    Duration of ownership: 4 Months

    Strengths: it worked great as the dominant web browser back before IE managed to gain enough of a hold.

    Weaknesses: while great during it's prime it's irrelevant today since the same company ( now known as Mozilla) has Firefox: based on similar R&D and ideas, Firefox is the modern superior replacement to Netscape

    Overall Evaluation: unless you're still running very old versions of windows (anything older than windows 2000) then you're better off with their newest browser, Firefox
