If you need to perform a nitty-gritty task like synchronizing files between folders, or replicating folders--especially on separate computers--you'll give thanks for ViceVersa Pro. With a few simple clicks, you can perform synchronizations, replication, do file-folder comparisons, and even file backup.
ViceVersa Pro includes plenty of nice tools for doing all this, including being able to copy open files without having to close the program that's using them, such as Outlook .PST files. You'll also be able to use compression and encryption, to minimize hard disk space, and keep your files safe.
There's only one drawback to ViceVersa Pro--its $60 price tag. If you rarely need to synchronize, backup, or replicate, that might be a steep price to pay. But if you do those things on a regular basis, it's worth the price
