Duration of ownership: 2 Months
Strengths: This product is non-invasive in your email. It is fast, simple, and works great! Outlook integration is perfect for me.
Weaknesses: None, really. It does what it is supposed to do.
Overall Evaluation: I really didn't expect this product to work very well. But it turns out to do exactly what I need it to. If you use a metadata scanner, you should use this one.

Duration of ownership: 5 Months
Strengths: I'm a lawyer. I've used other tools like this; they are complicated, slow and downright ugly. SendShield looks completely native to Outlook! It saves me so much time, because it scans the documents in the background while I do my work. It's absolutely amazing.
Weaknesses: I don't know of ANY.
Overall Evaluation: This is BY FAR the best metadata removal tool on the market.

Duration of ownership: 3 Weeks
Strengths: Not obtrusive (stays out of the way when not using it), fast scanning, and really efficient.
Weaknesses: Not all my documents need to be scanned, but you can turn off scanning of inbound messages (from other people). There's also a setting that will ignore scanning of files from people inside your company.
Overall Evaluation: It's a great to double-check that what I'm sending doesn't contain all my edits and changes! This product has saved me a number of times already from sending files full of comments and tracked changes to people I didn't want to see them.
