The JD VoiceMail interface provides easy, single-page access to the record, send, and save functions. There are several concise configuration dialogs where you can adjust the speaker and mic volume, as well as choose between the MP3, GSM, and Truespeech compression codecs. There's also a nice little photo address book that let you may link e-mail addresses to image files--a trick some of the popular e-mail clients might want to adopt.
JD VoiceMail performed flawlessly in my tests with both Outlook Express and Thunderbird. If you're looking for a simple way to send audio messages to friends or colleagues, it's a great way to go about it.
