    Duration of ownership: 1 Years

Strengths: Deception, false of security, tampering of data

    Weaknesses: Credibility, integrity, security

Overall Evaluation: DeborahS is or was staff of WOT Web of Trust. This browser add-on provides a false sense of security since WOT provided a mass rating tool to its Platinum members giving the ability to provide negative ratings to thousands of websites at a click of a button and promote these same members with awards and bonuses for achieving the most "kills" on its most active list. Very dubious. Many legitimate websites have been wrongly rated as poor and owners of these websites were advised to contact support@mywot.com, but were crucified by these members when they provided their "rebuttals" and later banished. Furthermore, WOT removes those "rebuttals" countering the page of its website that it does not manipulate information/data. Deleting comments from the owners' of their websites constitute tampering information for the purpose to manipulate the perception of the public.

Strengths: Easy to understand, manage and use.

Weaknesses: There are e few well-intentioned users that can mis-categorize a site from time to time. Common sense and good judgment still prevail.

Overall Evaluation: I have recommended it to all friends, family and business associates and I personally do not surf the web without it.
