  Duration of ownership: 6 Months

  Strengths: Works as promised. Extremely easy to use. I've searched for years for a program to do this.

  Weaknesses: I've never paid for a program. This is twenty times better than any other freeware or shareware I've tried.

  Overall Evaluation: Works for me. Very helpful.

  Strengths: Easy to use Puts duplicates into a new folder so they can be double checked before deletion

  Weaknesses: Not as flexible as paid programs

  Overall Evaluation: It found duplicate emails that my purchased program missed. Actually hundreds. So I opened a ton just to make sure they were duplicates and they were. The only thing is you can't select how to identify a duplicate, but that's a minor complaint as it got the job done. It puts the duplicates into a new folder so you can double check them. If they're not duplicates you just copy them back to the original location. Although I didn't find any errors. Might be more of a problem for duplicate contacts with the multiple fields, but I'd already cleaned those up so I didn't get to try out removing contacts.

  Strengths: i just wanted to counter the other reviews on this software there are only two reviews right now and they're both "one star" -- i don't understand why exactly.. this little program did exactly what it says it would do and its free! there are a LOT of other "pay" products out there that claim to do what this does - but they do a whole lot of other things that i don't need all i wanted to do was take the dups out of my outlook contacts folder and, by all appearances, it looks like this did exactly that i had over 2300 contacts - ran this program and it took out around 400 - leaving me with around 1900 contacts to do that manually would have been craziness thanks guys! good job!

  Weaknesses: the gui could use a little more polish

  Strengths: Free, which I always appreciate as long as it doesn't cause any damage. It's just that it has very limited usefulness, and was not what I was looking for.

  Weaknesses: Relies on message id rather than content

  Overall Evaluation: I wanted to use this to remove duplicate messages sent to multiple email addresses, but since it compares messages by message id rather than content, completely misses most duplicate messages. I suppose it might work if you were merging different .pst files and wanted to remove messages that were duplicated in each source .pst file.

  Strengths: Right idea just needs more work.

  Weaknesses: misses many duplicate files. Rerunning it leads to deminishing returns.

  Overall Evaluation: Beta product first candidate at best
