Description of Malformed RFT Control Word Vulnerability Patch
If you've been getting a General Protection Fault error when you attempt to view Rich Text Format files, this fix may correct the problem. The error occurs if you use a program that calls the default viewer for an RTF file that contains a specially malformed control word in the file header.
