If you're looking for a free way to optimize your PC, Comodo Registry Cleaner is a great bet. Brought to you by the same people who make the excellent free Comodo Firewall Pro, this equally excellent registry cleaner seeks out errors and junk in your Registry, fixes them out, and leaves you with a more stable PC.
As with other good Registry cleaners, Comodo does the work automatically. Run a scan, and it finds Registry problems for you, lets you review them, and cleans up the ones you'd like to fix. It has some nice extras as well, including creating backups before cleaning your Registry, and letting you tell the program to do automatic scans and clean-ups on its own. In addition, there's a very useful startup manager that lists every program that runs when you start your PC, and lets you stop those you don't want to run at startup. All in all, Comodo Registry Cleaner is a very useful, cleanly designed program--it'll be tough to find a better Registry cleaner for free.
