Photo2PictureFrame is an application that easily scales digital photo images to fit on a digital picture frame. In addition, because most pictures will not fill the entire display of the picture frame resulting in unused space either at the top and bottom or at the sides, Photo2PictureFrame allows you to fill the space with a color of your choice. Photo2PictureFrame can scale popular digital photo formats such as JPEG, TIFF, and PNG. All files are saved as high quality JPEG images which achieves an excellent compromise between picture quality and size. This allows you to store many high quality digital photos on your digital picture frame. I m sure all digital picture frames will automatically scale the photos, but who knows what algorithm the digital picture frame uses for scaling? Photo2PictureFrame uses a bicubic interpolation algorithm to ensure the utmost picture quality. It also uses a high quality level when it saves the images. Furthermore, the drag-n-drop feature allows you to adjust many digital photos at one time. Photo2PictureFrame is primarily designed for batch operation (no preview capability). It will run on Windows XP and later. It uses GDI+ which is installed on these machines out of the factory. However, Photo2PictureFrame will run on older versions of Windows, but you must install GDI+ yourself.
