Strengths: Nice GUI, easy to use, short learning curve, produces a reliably good DVD file.

Weaknesses: The odd setting is hard to find. DVD Flick reverses the order of source files when loading more than one at a time for burning. I found the sound is out of sync when burning AVIs and, after research, I manually change a setting for the audio each time I burn and that solves the problem. I would say that's the biggest issue.

Overall Evaluation: Really great product. It's the first of its kind that I have been able to use time after time without problems.

Strengths: Free, simple..IF you first read the guide, included with the software. I already use Windows Movie Maker now it is easy to burn my movies on to a DVD and pop it in the DVD player to watch on my flat screen. Did a 3 minute trial movie first, was watching it on my flat screen within 30 minutes after downloading the software, it is that simple. Believe me, if I can do it, anyone can.

Weaknesses: For my use, NONE, I edit my movies in Windows Movie Maker, only needed a way to burn to DVD ... THIS IS IT.

Overall Evaluation: I spent several days trying to reinstall Roxio MyDVD 9.0 DE, even did a clean install, the only option it would give me was to buy an upgrade, which I refused to do. While looking for 3rd party software to burn my home movies, I ran across DVD Flick, what a blessing. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to Mr Meuwissen for allowing free use of such software.
