Everybody loves to save a little cash when it's time to shop. Auction site eBay is a good place to bargain-hunt, and the eBay Desktop application outshines the popular Web site by a mile.
If you're looking at an auction as a buyer, for example, eBay Desktop offers real-time listing information, including as-they-happen item alerts and a big timer counting down to zero in sync with eBay's servers. Unfortunately eBay Desktop doesn't currently have much to offer the power-seller, but it's a can't-miss for the shopper.
