Description of Startup Monitor

Frustrated with small applications that automatically run when you start your computer? This application notifies you when an installation program tries to put an icon in your system tray. Programs in the tray hog your memory and processing power, even when they're not in use. This utility also acts as a security tool against Trojan horse programs such as BackOrifice or Netbus. You can return programs to the system tray if you desire.

Note: StartupMonitor has been tested on Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0, and Windows 2000. Unfortunately it does not function correctly under Windows 95 because of some unimplemented routines in the operating system.
