Editorial Review of Ashampoo UnInstaller Platinum 2

Your PC is most likely filled with junk left behind by programs that haven't installed properly--Registry keys, empty folders, bad shortcuts, unneeded .dlls and more. Ashampoo UnInstaller Platinum 2 does a great job of hunting all that down and cleaning it out.

You may think you don't need this program because you use Windows' uninstaller. You'd be wrong. Windows is dependent on programmers writing uninstall routines that clean up after themselves, but those programmers often don't do an adequate job.

This program watches all of your software installs, so that it can thoroughly clean them when you want to uninstall them. It will even clean your PC of junk installed before you installed Ashampoo UnInstaller Platinum 2, by performing tasks such as finding and deleting empty folders. There are other useful tools to help with other tasks, including managing Internet Explorer Add-Ins, and finding and deleting temporary files.
