Description of Outlook 2000 SR-1 Update
This patch shields you from viruses that spread themselves through e-mail and worm viruses that replicate through Outlook. It warns you whenever an external program attempts to access your Outlook address book or send e-mail without your permission. It also prevents users from accessing executables, batch files, and other file types that contain executable code. And it increases the default Internet security zone setting within Outlook from 'Internet' to 'restricted sites,' disabling active scripting within restricted sites.
