Description of Typing of the Dead
In the arcade game House of the Dead 2, you roam through many haunted levels, shooting through onslaughts of undead creatures. This variation makes your keyboard your weapon: You type the words displayed on screen in front of your attackers. The faster and more accurately you type the words, the faster you kill the zombies and the higher your score will be. Type your way through six gory levels, complete with a showdown with "the boss."
This game is a good way to improve your typing skills--because nothing motivates you to learn like having to type your way out of a duel with an axe-wielding, armor-plated giant. Game modes include Arcade, Boss, Drill, and Original. There's also a Training mode, so you unfortunate souls who know only of light guns, gamepads, and joysticks can get in on the action too. This download is 109MB; keep that in mind if you have a dial-up connection and less-than-infinite patience.
