If you're ready to use your desktop to unleash the sounds and rhythms struggling to be released from your soul, consider this full-featured application for music writing and composition. You can enter your printed scores using an editor that allows you to place and move the notes on the staves compete with accompanying appoggiaturas, trills, mordent, and vibrato. Digital effect processors such as Reverb, Chorus, Distortion, and Wah can also be applied. An instrument database is integrated into the software, which can be used with a basic sound card. You can record sounds from a CD or a microphone, or import, export, and convert music in MIDI, ABC, and TAB format. You can also use digital formats such as AIFF, WAV, or MP3. It will even calculate tablature for fretted and stringed instruments, even harmonica, Appalachian Dulcimer, and Baroque Lute. When your masterpiece is complete, print your compositions. This version adds the Myriad Music Plug-In, to publish music scores on the Web, as well as a time-slider palette to go quickly to a given position in your music piece.
