Description of Internet Explorer 5.01 Service Pack 2
This patch provides the latest updates and security fixes to Internet Explorer. It can be installed as an upgrade to existing versions of Internet Explorer, or on computers with no previous Internet Explorer installation. Total download size for a typical installation is approximately 17 MB. However, because setup downloads only those files that are necessary for your computer, the size may range from 6 to 17 MB. If you are running Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows NT 4.0, installing Internet Explorer 5.01 SP2 upgrades your computer to 128-bit encryption. If you are running Windows 2000, installing Internet Explorer 5.01 SP2 will not change the current level of encryption on your computer.
