Description of InvisiMail Deluxe
Even if you're not sending nuclear secrets to the Libyans, there are perfectly legitimate reasons for encrypting your e-mail.
InvisiMail Deluxe automatically encrypts and decrypts your e-mail with 607-to-1279-bit encryption. It also checks to determine whether anyone has tampered with it while in transmission.
After installation you will have two encryption keys. One is your public key, which is automatically sent to other InvisiMail users. The other is your private key that allows you to decrypt messages from other users.
Messages sent to non-InvisiMail users are sent as plain e-mails without encryption. Its anti-spam features can identify, quarantine, or ban unwanted mail, and its anti-viral scanning looks within e-mail messages and compressed archive attachments (such as Zip files) to identify possible virus threats before they infect your system. InvisiMail supports e-mail clients including Netscape, Outlook, and Eudora. InvisiMail also has features such as digital signing and file shredding to keep the documents on your desktop, CD-ROMs, and FTP servers private, as well.
