  Duration of ownership: 15 Years

  Strengths: Registry Analysis and Reg Edit. System Recovery Tools.

  Weaknesses: Disk Defrag not use Frequency of use in file placement.

  Overall Evaluation: Very useful recovery utilities. More than XP System Restore for getting a system running. And the Registry Analyser allows full user review of all proposed changes. Excellent for finding left over old entries from uninstalled software. Just be careful with the RED Flagged items.

  Duration of ownership: 3 Years

  Strengths: I haven't used this for several years due to customer service which is largely non-existent. I purchased it early on before Avanquest mucked things up and was pretty happy with the software. I stopped using it around version 8

  Weaknesses: Customer service. If you haven't figured this out for the current millenium, I'm not sure how you're able to stay in business.

  Overall Evaluation: Fair to poor. On the customer service side alone, I wouldn't purchase, recommend or even pirate it. Don't &^%$ with your user base

  Strengths: It's an OK program.

  Weaknesses: The company cares nothing for the users.

  Overall Evaluation: After dealing with customer support, here's the review I'm posting everywhere I can. Do not buy this program. It is good. However, if you upgrade your computer, or crash your hard drive two or three times, you cannot reload it because the 'serial number is already in use". Avanquest support (so named) says "tough **** buy the new one." I'll never deal with them again."

  Strengths: not sure if any of the program works at all in windows 7!

  Weaknesses: it is junk and wasnt ready to be released! avoid like the plague!

  Overall Evaluation: junk! don't waste your money! loved the older version on xp but 10 is useless!
