    Duration of ownership: 3 Months

Strengths: I like that it can capture both sides of chats (when it works), I like that it can email you logs (though chats are not part of that)

Weaknesses: Program breaks frequently, frequently records nothing at all. Screens have mismatched themes making them a pain to navigate. Things like chat conversations are not considered part of the normal log and are not emailed with the rest. NO REFUNDS!

Overall Evaluation: I needed this quickly as I had a time sensitive application. I spent two hours trying to get it to install correctly (I'm a software engineer - this isn't new to me). I got most of it to work, but then it only worked intermittently and crashed all the time. The screens are a mishmash of thoughts and ideas that the developer never turned into a seamless application (like several people independently developed each screen). You can’t save the things you need in anything approaching a useful way. I never could get the email to work properly even though I used standard SMTP servers that work with all other programs. Worst of all, there were many, many times when I knew my teen was on yahoo chat for hours, but when I checked later there was no record of it all. In the end, I was able to log into my teens yahoo chat (she left the auto-logon feature enabled), I turned on archiving and then I could log on later and read the chats (which was a true life saver). After all that and untold hours fiddling with this application, I asked for a refund. At this point I was rigorously informed that the web site “clearly states that there is no refund”.
