Strengths: I think this is a GREAT tool for shrinking movies from DVDS to fit regular 4.7 DVD's. It is extremely easy to use and very flexable with download settting location and what feature you want to include such as subtitles and trailers.
Weaknesses: I just can't think of any. This product seems to have been updated from my orginal download 2 years ago- do quote me on that.. but the upgrade doesn't appear to be a weakness at all.
Overall Evaluation: Awesome Freeware. I have had no issues with freezing- no spyware- no ads to look at- it is just easy - clean - and functional!

Strengths: Easy to use, allows editing of DVD content, quickly indicates size of output DVD with compression, works for both standard and dual layer DVDs
Weaknesses: Takes a long while to unencrypt and copy a DVD to the hard drive, then you have to burn it to disk (if you choose to). Entire process can take up to an hour per DVD.
Overall Evaluation: Works on both Windows XP and Vista (x64) with no issues. I'd be lost without it! Too bad the creators upgraded it for Vista and are now charging for it. I recommend pairing it with SlySoft AnyDVDHD software for advanced encryption-cracking capabilities.

Strengths: Very easy to use, and lite on resources.
Weaknesses: -Currently with XP Home, and will be getting a new PC in a couple of months, and from what I've heard, it doesn't work with Vista. -Doesn't work all the time.
Overall Evaluation: Great little program, would probably be by far the best on the market if they creators were still around to update it.

Strengths: Quality after copying is great, and copies menus, special features, etc. if you want it to. Fairly small program.
Weaknesses: Difficult to do too much else with it (convert for MP3 player) once you have it on your computer, besides watch it. Not able to just copy the movie and make it one file.
Overall Evaluation: Great for putting DVDs on your PC, pretty fast, and probably the best DVD copying software/program that I've used thus far.

Strengths: It works about 50% of the time. If you want a very good dvd duplicator, get Imtoo dvd recorder. With Imtoo it records right to disc.
Weaknesses: For one it takes forever and you have to put on your computer, then copy to disc. Then when you copy to disc, somtimes it doesn't play in some or dvd players after hours of recording it should say it can't copy..
Overall Evaluation: Fair to good sometimes.

Strengths: DVD Shrink can back up copyrighted dvds with ease, and save them to a hard disk folder. It can also burn them to dvd itself if you have Nero installed.
Weaknesses: It cannot decrypt more complex disk encryptions. It also doens't back up dvd menus, thus one must copy it to HDD themselves.
Overall Evaluation: an outstanding dvd backup program, runs fast, and gives you a video preview (optional) when backing up your disk. An overally amazing program (for simpler encryptions.)
