  Duration of ownership: 8 Months

  Strengths: The video is much clearer than the past versions. Sound quality matches the video so there is no delay on either the video or audio. The online support crew has answered my calls very promptly which is a treat in todays support world.

  Weaknesses: The only problem I have found is with the multy party feature. Unless you have an up todate system you may get some delay with the audio.

  Overall Evaluation: I have Version 6.0 and use a Logitech pro 5000 webcam. I have had no problems with this product what so ever. When I do have delay problems it's always because of a busy network or try to use it between 4:00pm and 6:30 local time. The net at that time is usually loaded with kids talking to their friends on the Internet. I have a Logitech Ultra Vision coming and will keep you up todate with how a higher end webcam works with Sightspeed 6.0

  Overall Evaluation: RichardHG -- I have just seen your user review of SightSpeed 6.0 from two months ago in March (immediately following the release of SightSpeed 6.0). No doubt about it -- for a minority of users, we experienced some real difficulties with 6.0's important conversion to an entirely SIP infrastructure. But, we have addressed those issues and are confident that your previous experiences are a thing of the past. Don't take my word for it, however, please check it out for yourself and let me know directly at my email address below. FYI -- PC World itself just gave SightSpeed 6.0 its ultimate stamp of approval by awarding us one of its "100 Best Products of 2007" (in fact, we landed in the top 25% of companies on the list at #21 -- well ahead of Skype and others). But, again, don't take my word for it -- check it out yourself. As a smaller company, we are absolutely fully focused on ensuring that our customers are completely satisfied.   Weaknesses: Crashes immediately on loading.

  Overall Evaluation: I purchased the $50 version because a business associate in Canada told me it was the software his group would be using. Well, it seems they have egg all over their faces too. It doesn't work for them any more, and since they were the only people I knew using the service, it was a wasted $50. Meanwhile, I just use Skype, and I have given them money for their services, international calling, calling around the US etc, and everything works just fine.
