Weaknesses: lost my way when I switched skins....but even then, it wasn't that hard.
Overall Evaluation: It is now my favorite browser...I'm sure it's going to catch on here in the states.

Strengths: You name it - Uniqueness ,Split screen,Magic Fill,etc..
Weaknesses: Halt for 1/2 min once in every 3 hrs.Voice operation not integrated.
Overall Evaluation: A better browser than IE9,Chrome,Firefox,Safari.

Overall Evaluation: Great browser. A friend introduced me to Maxthon some years ago and I am with them until now!

Strengths: It is user friendly. It offers a customizable spam and pop up blockers (called Adhunter). If a pop up open, they will only be opened in one tab and thatâs it. In Firefox a new page opens for every pop â really annyoing and I was fed up with this. Maxthon comes with a multi-search feature: Compare search results across Google, Yahoo, Bing and any other search engine in one easy browser window.Maxthonâs entry page comes with Quick Access links: thumbnails of websites you access most often such as search engines, sofware download, video and news sites. You can customize each and everyone of these thumbnails and add your most visited sites with a right-mouse-click.
Weaknesses: Nothing found specifically.
Overall Evaluation: page loading is very fast and better secure than firefox. I found many times firefox has crashed but maxthon never in these 2 years. among 7 browsers which i have been using for testing purpose, maxthon is the best up to now.

Strengths: Hah! Where to start? Built in resource finder (download video & audio off the page), lightning fast, different modes for problem websites, easy to use, easy to skin, easy to configure, use mouse gestures to navigate so you don't have to keep going up to a back button, or the tab headers, get the mobile version on your phone or tab & everyting can follow you around, faves, history, everything. Did I mention it's faster than Chrome? No I didn't... But it is! I could go on like this for hours - This is THE browser. What on earth zboner and elcon10342 were reviewing is beyond me - There is NO spyware in Maxthon. I run an IT support company and I use this browser day in & day out.
Weaknesses: Only 1 - The ONLY thing I wish this browser would let me do that it doesn't is drag the favicon off the page to make a shortcut. That's it....
Overall Evaluation: Faster page loads than any other browser. Safer than FireFox. Better featured than Chrome, and IE can't hold a candle to it. I also develop web pages & have 18 different browsers installed for testing purposes - This is the one I use.

Strengths: Great features already installed. Good cloud tie-ins make it a portable experience. I can use it on any computer with Maxthon.
Weaknesses: None really.
Overall Evaluation: I want a couple of things out of a browser. First, it has to be fast. Maxthon 3 starts fast and is really zippy. To me it feels faster than Chrome, which I used but then stopped using. The other thing I want is...gasp..features! I can't stand dealing with plugins/addons, whatever people call them. They tend not to be updated and they suck the performance from the browser. As soon as I installed Maxthon I started discovering features I really liked. Probably my favorite is the video feature that allows me to download a YouTube video for later viewing. Not sure how they do that, but I like it a lot. Also, the notes feature is cool. I started using that and now always have it open when browsing. It really helps me organize my day and keep things I need close to me. The online bookmarks are cool. And overall, I like that I can log in to my passport account and get my history and bookmarks from any Maxthon browser. I'm glad I found this product. Oh -- and the two rendering engines are a cool thing. I don't have to use that feature a lot, but when I do it's handy. Maxthon makes it possible for me to use one browser -I like that simplicity.

Overall Evaluation: I have been using maxthon from last 1 year. and it never crashed. Maxthon has awesome options which can be customizable according to your needs. I would strongly suggest you all to download this software if you want to have a crash free internet browsing experience.

Strengths: Maxthon is by far the best browser I've used and I've used all three versions, which are still installed on my computer. I've also used IE8, IE9, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari, none of which work as well as Maxthon. It does not contain Spyware or Adware, not sure what some of these reviewers are talking about. I work in an environment where my computer is scanned several times a day and no malware of any sort has been found.My company does not allow use of software containing malware.
Weaknesses: It has had tab freezes, but not very often, unlike the other browsers which tend to freeze daily.
Overall Evaluation: If Maxthon were to charge for this, I would buy it. Its well worth the download.

Strengths: very customizable. Roboform works with it. No crashes like IE8 and Firefox 3.5
Weaknesses: None so far.
Overall Evaluation: I have been searching for a browser that doesn't freeze up or crash and this one seems to be the winner. I have tried IE8 Firefox 3.5 and 4 others, including Google Chrome. This seems to be the very best overall.

Strengths: Great Skins, good interface, lots of functions like mouse gestures. Will work with Roboform (check IE add on in set up page)
Weaknesses: On very rare occassions you may need to use IE for a download. Earlier versions had problems with Gmail but works great now.
Overall Evaluation: I have been a Maxthon user for 2 years. When I heard that Firefox 3 was so great, I tried it. What crap. I immediately went back. Maxthon is superior and you don't have to add on anything (except Roboform if you buy it). I have used on two computers and it is not slow and it does not contain spyware or Adware.

Weaknesses: can easily freeze your computer, SLOW, not a good web browser, WORST THEN INTERNET EXPLORER
Overall Evaluation: DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!! you will be dissapointed. If you want a browser like internet explorer, just download IE 7, it is alot better but i dont use ie, i use firefox.
