Strengths: none
Weaknesses: Beware !!! Free version expires in less than a week leaving files locked. A overpriced subscription must be purchased to retrieve locked files.
Overall Evaluation: The trial version is a scam. No help from support or phone number to contact. A total ripoff

Strengths: I have been using Folder Lock for about six months now. I have tried numerous encryption tools and have found that Folder Lock is the only one that works on any Windows platform. This feature makes it ideal for using on a USB drive. The program is also very easy to use and has an attractive interface.
Weaknesses: There is one feature that I don't like. Folder Lock has a function called "Hacker Attempts" which logs incorrect passwords. The most recent release of Folder Lock, as of this posting, allows the user to disable this function. But if the function is not disabled it will log all of your incorrectly spelled passwords. They are stored in plain text in the Windows registry.
Overall Evaluation: Having said that, I still think that Folder Lock is a good program. I think everyone who is curious about his data security must try Folder Lock

Strengths: Locking and on-the-fly Encryption and complete data security. I encrypt 3GBs of my personal data within seconds.
Weaknesses: I didn't find any thing wrong in this software. in fact the latest version helped me more because now i can customize options according to my needs
Overall Evaluation: Before buying I installed its trial version on my vista operating system and ran it 25times to check it, I didnât find any difficulty or incompatibility. It works smoothly that made me to buy its full version for unlimited use.

Overall Evaluation: in spite of its cost i justlove it because it gives me unbreakable protection for my files and important documents. it is not only about locking it also offers encryption, and portability which is a great feature

Strengths: Fast and Easy to Use.
Weaknesses: Cannot re-install software from Producer's disc when PC crashes.
Overall Evaluation: Not worth 10% of the $52.45 it costs. Support is by e-mail only and Support unable or unwilling to provide solution to problem. Useless in the long run.

Strengths: data once locked can never ne unlocked by any mens except with my password.
Weaknesses: i am a current user of Folder Lock,I am using Folder Lock VERSION 6.05 and haven't fount any thing weaker nor faced any bug.
Overall Evaluation: Its only a month using Folder Lock,I am using its trial version and I am pretty much convinced to buy this extremely secure product,tested its each and every feature and was amazed to see it functioning perfectly,its stealth mode feature is outstanding,no one knows that I am using any security software to protect my data.

Strengths: the program is extremely powerful,uncrackable and no data recovery software can recover the data protected by it.
Weaknesses: Ive recently downloaded the new version and its working very good so far,haven't found any weaknesses yet.
Overall Evaluation: I am not an old user of Folder lock,before I was using other security products but they were not satisfying so I decided to download Folder Lock. I am using it new version now and I found it a bug free,rapid processing and a comprehensive security software.

Strengths: The locking and encrypting functions are flawless.
Weaknesses: did faced some problems with old versions but have faced any with the latest one..
Overall Evaluation: Complete security tool for me,I feel pretty much relax that my important files and folder are now protected and are also secured from viruses also,no one can't even think of hacking my files protected by Folder Lock,this software has fulfilled my security needs,I would strongly recommend Folder Lock.

Strengths: Protects my files from network which I don't want to be shared on the network.
Weaknesses: Was facing trouble to transfer my protected data to portable disk and tried to view it on other pc but I failed and mailed my problem to the customer support who took immediate notice and replied a thorough solution.
Overall Evaluation: Its working flawlessly on my vista note book.The latest version 6.0.5 has awesome outlook and amazing features.I also have used the older versions but the new version is more easy to use with its upgraded features.The feature of Folder Lock which I like most is that I can also protect my cd's and dvd 's by it.I am pretty happy with program and their customer support.I strongly recommend Folder Lock.

Strengths: Its really an effective product,Folder Lock protects my documents and saves my important data from viruses.
Weaknesses: I have been using Folder Lock for a year and thats more than enough time to check any product's weaknesses and I must say that Folder lock is a perfect solution for security conscious people.
Overall Evaluation: Folder lock is a complete solution for the security of my extremely important documents.Its been a year using this software and I must say that its an ultimate security and data protection software.Its simple functionality has made it a unique software which not only protects my data but also acts as an anti virus for my data protected by it.

Strengths: Security at its highest level, Folder Lock protects my personal data and hides it as it never been there.
Weaknesses: While using the older versions of Folder Lock, I tried to protect a large number my of files but I noticed that Folder Lock wasn't able to secure huge amount of data, I contacted the customer support and discuss my issue, they did a great job and helped me to solve my problem.
Overall Evaluation: Using Folder Lock was a good experience,its a high level security software and does its job perfectly.Now I am using Folder lock's new version 6.0.5 which is more secure and more reliable than Folder Lock's older versions.The upgraded version is bug free with a larger capacity of data storage.I am really jubilant to use this software and strongly prefer Folder Lock.

Weaknesses: No security whatsoever. Your data can easily be found and viewed.
Overall Evaluation: Horrible. This is putting people's data at risk when they are told it is secure. I found a comparable product for 1/2 the the price that is much more secure (InviziVault)

Strengths: None--it wouldn't install on Vista Home Premium
Weaknesses: Absolutely no support from the source--3 efforts to contact without response. The failed install has left dregs on my machine that can't be deleted and interfere with other software, e.g. System Mechanic. By "coincidence" the charge card I used had $900 of charges to a German software co. soon after.
Overall Evaluation: I would not suggest anyone deal with this program or its writers. PC World should take it off their site!

Strengths: Nice Interface. Simple instructions.
Weaknesses: Does not hide or encrypt files only alters XP settings. Files are found unaltered if you connect the hard drive to another computer.
Overall Evaluation: A complete farce.
