Strengths: Finally after years of using K-meleon, PC World is recommending this browser! K-meleon had tabbed browsing and highly desired security options long before Firefox, IE7, and runs on a Mac. I have been using it for several years and is by far the best, fastest and leanest browser that I have ever used. It worked on an old Compaq 500MHz pc and runs smoothly on a Vista machine.
Weaknesses: Trying to figure out the scripts, plugins, and what other options do is more for and open source guru rather than a non-geek. Trying to figure out how to correct a problem via K-meleon forums is took tasking...ya gotta be a programmer to understand what to do.
Overall Evaluation: Excellent! I discovered K-meleon on an episode of The Screensavers on TechTV. I highly recommend this browser for everyone using an old PC w/Windows 98 or a new PC w/Windows Vista.

Strengths: It's great. Sometimes wait a second or 2 to connect with others sites but after that the pages just pop right up.
Weaknesses: I'm not having much luck getting my favorites out of firefox.

Strengths: Fast. "Add-ons" and mandatory downloads for other browsers are included. Just download this browser. Open the file. Set it up. Now GO!
Weaknesses: This far none. I really beat up browsers so I learn very quickly their strengths and weaknesses. Again, thus far none.
Overall Evaluation: Great little browser.

Strengths: it instals and uninstals nicely
Weaknesses: its very complicated. what are layers anyway? to much to configure. its UI is ugly. it doesnt work.
Overall Evaluation: dont bother with this thing. either use ie7 or safari if you like using lookout express or chose opera or firefox if you are willing to change mail readers. opera is looking better and better all the time.
