    Duration of ownership: 6 Months

    Strengths: Free, fast, stable and consistant.

    Weaknesses: Must pay to transfer files but you can install Avvenu for that (free also).

    Overall Evaluation: I'm totally amazed that this is free! It's by far the fastest product I've used in this category. You can reboot the remote computer and log back in after updates. Excellent product.

    Duration of ownership: 3 Months

    Strengths: A very well-designed, incredibly useful tool. Works wonders even behind firewalls and dynamic IPs. Works like a charm. FREE!

    Weaknesses: Some features disabled when compared to other Logmein versions, namely Pro

    Overall Evaluation: I can't tell you how many times I've gone to a friend's house or the office, only to realize I forgot to send myself the file I need. Now I just use LogmeIn free, and bam I've got my files from my home PC. Like I said it works like a charm, and best of all it's totally free.

    Duration of ownership: 8 Months

    Strengths: Works very well, fast, easy to use. Allows you to fix most problems on friends and relatives machines without going to their place.

    Weaknesses: Initial setup on remote computer needed to be done FROM remote computer.

    Overall Evaluation: To describe this package in one word is easy - AMAZING. If I could use two words, it would be INCREDIBLY AMAZING ! This package does everything that they claim it does, and it does it very well. I have had one problem, (using the FREE version), and called support at a 1-800 number. They called back about 2-3 hours later, and handled the problem for me. Great company, Great software. Makes helping family and friends a real breeze.
