  Duration of ownership: 3 Months

  Strengths: Simple to use. Cost effective. Vastly superior to Netscape Composer or Mozilla Seamonkey. Its is not DreamWeaver, but it is not priced like Dreamweaver.

  Weaknesses: I don't view Nvu's limited feature menu as a weakness, no more than I'd say not being able to accelerate from 0 to 80 in five seconds is a weakness of a Toyota Prius.

  Overall Evaluation: I use it daily. I'd strongly recommend to anyone needing to build simple web pages and/or format .html code for insertion in an e-mail. Depending on how it was prices, I'd be willing to pay for it. I've not had problems with system crashes, but then I've not sought to use the more advanced features.

  Strengths: Intuitive Interface, Feature Rich

  Weaknesses: Unstable ( But, it is Beta)

  Overall Evaluation: Cannot recommend this program unless you only want to do extremely simple pages. If you are a true designer and want detail and customization to the hilt, this baby will crash on you when you try to use it's touted features. Hopefully, they will improve that in the final release. I will try again with final release.
