    Weaknesses: Not free does not find all duplicates. I found a free tool that does better: http://www.mindgems.com/products/Fast-Duplicate-File-Finder/Fast-Duplicate-File-Finder-About.htm

    Strengths:

    Weaknesses: no good marking option and file preview

    Overall Evaluation: First i use this product to clean my disk it does the job but when i have very large list than it takes very long time to search than its hard for me to mark and delete them than i find this Duplicate Finder from ashisoft.com this product very good in finding duplicate files and i found good marking option though its not freeware but its worth paying for it.

    Weaknesses: TERRIBLE YOU CANT SEE A JPG OF THE FILE YOUR DOWNLOADING THAT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU COULD SEE THE DUPLICATE FILE FIRST AND NOT A USER FRIENDLY PROGRAM

    Overall Evaluation: GET A PROGRAM THAT HAS A PICTURE VIEWER IN IT TO SEE THE FILES YOUR ABOUT TO DELETE.

    Weaknesses: Hard For Novices To Use

    Overall Evaluation: For all possible users of this free download... BE CAREFUL ON WHAT YOU DELETE! It gives no description whatsoever of what each file is. You have to know what you are doing or else you will screw your computer up... I would just get a mac and not have any problems at all or at least get Linux instead of windows.

    Strengths: Really didn't get a chance to find its strengths!

    Weaknesses: What good is it if you don't know one file from another?

    Overall Evaluation: Novices shouldn't even touch this program! I did and wiped out thousands of files and now my computer is a nightmare! I had to repair WindowsXP just to get it booted up again and then couldn't do a System Restore, which would have put Humpty Dumpty back together again. I can't even get those files restored from the Recycle Bin because every time I open it and click just once, it crashes. I just don't know what to do now! Can't live with it really. I have since uninstalled this program and will never touch another one like it again! Beware!

    Weaknesses: This is not a *FREE* product. It is an evaluation copy only that lasts exactly 20 times. Otherwise you have to fork $23USD (15+8).

    Overall Evaluation: You have to be very careful not to delete a file that you need. It's rather easy to do that with this tool.

    Strengths: Finds duplicates fast and easy.

    Weaknesses: Doesn't tell you what should or could be deleted. Not for the novice.

    Overall Evaluation: It does what it says, but their warning as to a careful look at the results should be well heeded by any who use this program. Be sure you know what you're doing!!
